Michael Fischer was born in Leipzig in 1969. He studied at the Leipzig Graphic Arts High School.

Is Michael Fischer’s art complaisant? No, he attracts too much attention! The intensity of his work does not allow for indifference and like a magnet either it attracts you or it repulses you. This arbitrary negation is the tangible proof that Michael Fischer belongs to the ranks of the great contemporary artists, up there with Andy Warhol and Joseph Beuys.

Fischer explains: ”I identify multiple levels of inexistent mental processes”
Fischer’s maxim is: ”People are the driving force behind this world.  Only he who really makes an effort to undertstand this can expect to have a place in our society.”
